Our full-time positions work 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. They get paid for *sick, *vacation, holiday and (1) one personal day per year. This totals to 39 paid days off per year.
Financial Service Worker/Payee - This position is accountable for functioning as a representative payee for assigned clients who are disabled and are unable to manage their own money safely and responsibly. The position will also maintain the automated financial payee system and related computer records. This is a full-time position and work hours are Monday-Friday. We work 37.5 hours a week, so 7.5 hours a day. Pay is $15.00/hr.
1. Performs various payee duties for severely mentally disabled clients and APS senior clients.
a. Obtains payeeships from banks and other agencies.
b. Establishes and maintains accounts to receive and safeguard client funds.
c. Budgets and analyzes clients' financial status.
d. Negotiates with creditors on balances and payment plans for clients.
e. Researches and pays necessary bills for clients.
f. Balances clients' check registers with monthly banking statements.
g. Determines clients' spending priorities and investment of surplus funds.
h. Maintains close working relationships case managers at Senior Resource Connection.
2. Maintains the automated representative financial payee software system for the program.
a. Manages the data entry of all client financial transactions with the computerized system.
b. Maintains the computerized software system to assure its effectiveness.
c. Audits the transactions for internal quality assurance within the program.
3. Performs various activities relating to the Social Services Division.
a. Attends and actively participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
4. Establishes and maintains records and reports.
a. Prepares activity and dictation logs on a regular basis.
b. Maintains accurate files on clients receiving services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have one (1) year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management. QuickBooks knowledge helpful.
Must pass a criminal background check and maintain a clear record. Must also have transportation to drive to the bank.
The Records Coordinator is accountable for tabulating and maintaining accurate records for the Congregate Program of the Nutrition Department with strict confidentiality and coordinating the activities of the Nutrition Site Operators. Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. Hourly pay rate is $14.30.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Maintains accurate records to document the activities of the Congregate Program.
a. Maintains automated Congregate computer software program, computer records and prepares all appropriate reports as requested.
b. Maintains accurate filing system to ensure timely retrieval of information.
c. Completes record-keeping procedures in all facets of the Congregate Program.
2. Provides clerical support to Nutrition Department.
a. Answers telephone and assists callers appropriately.
b. Provides assistance in the absence of other computer support personal.
c. Types reports, correspondence, and other documents as required by supervisor.
d. Completes new client registrations.
e. Assists in reviewing route sheets and contacting customers who did not receive meals.
3. Assists with the coordination of the activities of the Congregate Site Operators and Bulk Food Van Drivers, to include training.
a. Covering Congregate Sites and Bulk route deliveries as needed.
4. Performs other related duties as assigned including records documentation for Meals-On-Wheels and Congregate Programs and delivery of meals, if needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
The Bulk Food Driver is accountable for transporting food and food service equipment and supplies and paperwork to the Senior Resource Connection senior dining sites. Part-time Monday-Friday between 7:00a - 1:00p. Pay is $11.40/hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Transports food and food service equipment to nutrition sites.
a. Responsible for accurately compiling and loading the food and supply orders needed for each
day.
b. Ensures pick up and delivery of appropriate paperwork and supplies to nutrition sites.
c. Returns food containers from nutrition sites for cleaning and sanitation.
2. Assists with the clean up of food service equipment and containers.
3. Drivers are responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of vehicles.
a. Reports and records vehicle breakdowns, malfunctions, accidents or relevant mishaps that occur during route.
b. Maintains vehicle service and repair logs.
c. Have vehicles washed, fueled, etc., as needed.
4. Performs other related duties including helping with kitchen tasks and delivery of home delivered meals, as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE OF: Local area street and highways systems; food sanitation and safety.
ABILITY TO: Read and understand a city street map and follow oral and written directions; maintain good working relationships with senior dining site operators, co-workers and supervisors and drives in a pro-active and safe manner.
SKILL IN: Counting, writing, reading and following schedules, directions and maps.
QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a standard high school course of study or equivalent with at least one (1) year experience in delivery driving. Must posses a valid Ohio Driver’s License and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle background check and maintain a clear driving record, in order to be insurable under agency liability coverage.

Site Operators are accountable for the overall coordination and operation of the nutrition site in order to provide nutritious meals to members and participants of the center. Part-time Monday-Friday
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Supervises the personnel, including volunteers, assigned to the work site.
a. Plans and assigns work priorities for assigned staff.
b. Provides orientation and training to new employees and volunteers.
c. Assists in recruiting volunteers to assist with kitchen operations.
2. Coordinates kitchen operations to ensure efficient food service delivery.
a. Assures that all appliances are turned on and ready for use.
b. Orders food supplies necessary to ensure efficient operations of site.
c. Maintains the serving temperature of prepared food to ensure that the hot food stays hot, and the cold food stays cold.
e. Assists with the set-up of site facilities, including tables.
f. Coordinates clean-up of work site at the end of each day.
g. Assures that all food service is performed according to accepted standards of sanitation and safety.
h. Responsible for cleanup and sanitation of serving areas prior to meal service and after meals have been served.
3. Prepares daily paperwork for nutrition site.
a. Maintains time cards of paid staff and volunteers as required.
b. Maintains paperwork on all supplies ordered and received.

c. Records amount of money collected at work site on daily basis.

Senior Resource Connection is seeking an full-time INTAKE CLERK in our Meals on Wheels program. This is a full-time position and work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. We work 37.5 hours a week, so 7.5 hours a day. Pay is $12.30/hour.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
This position is accountable for assisting the Meals on Wheels Records Coordinator in tabulating and maintaining accurate records for the Meals on Wheels Division of the Nutrition Services Department with strict client confidentiality.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Helps to maintain accurate records to document the activities of the Meals on Wheels division.
a. Completes new client intake procedures.
b. Prepares route sheets for use by drivers on a weekly basis.
c. Maintains accurate Meal on Wheels filing system.
d. Assists in reviewing, on a daily basis, the completed Meals on Wheels route sheets and attempts to contact customers who did not receive their meal.
2. Provides additional clerical support to the staff of the Meals on Wheels division of the Nutrition Services Department as needed.

b. Reproduces documents, reports and forms as needed.
c. Prepares reports, correspondence and other documents using word processing software, as required by supervisor.

(1) Full-time and (1) Part-time OUTREACH ASSESSORS are needed in our Meals on Wheels department. Accountable for performing telephone and in-home assessments and providing direct service to eligible clients in the service area, with strict confidentiality. Person must know how to use Word and Excel and some Access. Position is Monday - Friday. Pay is $14.30/hour. This is a full-time position and work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Food Service Worker
This position is accountable for providing necessary assistance to food service and preparation personnel as assigned on a daily basis. Persons fulfilling this position must be flexible and willing to perform a variety of different duties from day-to-day. This is a full-time Monday - Friday position. Hours are 5:00am - 1:00pm. Pay is $13.00/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Assists food service personnel with various aspects of food preparation.
a. Prepare main entrees as assigned.
b. Prepare cold food and side dishes, including vegetables, fruits, salads, sandwiches and baked goods.
c. Prepares dietary foods for therapeutic diets when necessary.
d. Packs cold foods and supplies into carryout containers.
e. Assists with the packing of hot foods into carryout containers for home delivered meals.
f. Records temperature of foods prior to transportation to congregate dining sites.
2. Participates in maintaining clean surroundings in the kitchen area according to accepted industry sanitation standards.
a. Cleans and washes kitchen equipment and utensils as assigned.
b. Mops floors and disposes of trash on a daily basis.
3. Assures efficient, sanitary and safe operation of the dishwashing area.
a. Completes clean up of the dishwashing area.
b. Reports any malfunctions of equipment as they occur.
c. Keep floors of kitchen swept and mopped.
d. Wash walls as needed and wash doors on a weekly basis.
e. Help in stacking stock as needed.
f. Rinsing and cleaning buckets and mops after using.

We are currently seeking experienced MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS for positions in the Dayton Area. We have an ongoing need for people that are passionate about giving back to their community through serving home-bound seniors. This position is accountable for packing, driving, delivering and service monitoring meals delivered to clients. Persons performing this position must be flexible and willing to perform a variety of duties or routes from day-to-day. Must be 25 years old or older to drive for us. The shifts are typically 4-5 hours per day are generally between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday-Friday, NO WEEKENDS. Hourly wage plus mileage reimbursement. Pay is $11.40. Essential job function is to provide overall coordination and operation of the nutrition site in order to provide nutritious meals to members and participants of the center.
Responsibilities include driving to congregate sites or restaurants that are hosting the congregate lunches and supervising personnel or volunteers, coordinate operations to ensure food is delivered from SRC's kitchen, distributing vouchers, setting up tables and ensuring food stays hot or cold. Responsible for clean-up/sanitation of areas prior to serving and after. Will also prepare daily paperwork for nutrition.
