Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
RSVP offers men and women meaningful volunteer
assignments working in community-wide projects throughout the Miami Valley.
Last year close to 300 older adults contributed over 62,000 volunteer
hours.
RSVP volunteers do everything from aiding
terminally ill persons, supporting community policing efforts, helping
seniors understand medical insurance, to teaching immigrants English and
children to be responsible.
Your Community is Calling
Your community needs you! RSVP can help you use your
skills and talents to assist others. Volunteers are the "helping hands" of

an RSVP volunteer, you provide the expertise to help these agencies meet the
community's many needs.

What is
RSVP?
Funded by the Corporation for National
Service, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program focuses on your needs and
interests. Its purpose is to develop a recognized role for older Americans
through significant volunteer service. We offer men and women meaningful
volunteer assignments working in community-wide projects. If you're 55 years
old, 65, or even 75 and older--RSVP is for you. You may have retired from a
job but not from living and learning. Accept the challenge and see the
results of your efforts in the improved lives of your neighbors.
We're With You Every Step Of The Way.
The staff of RSVP will match your skills
to the specific needs of our community's agencies. We can open doors to make
the right contact for you as a volunteer. And we support our volunteers by
sending a quarterly newsletter, furnishing accident and liability insurance,
providing limited mileage reimbursement and hosting an annual recognition
event. We're always interested in hearing about your volunteer experience
and will contact you periodically to make certain you are satisfied with
your assignment.
How Do I Get Started?
Let RSVP help you discover the best years
